I Made these as an appetizer last night. They were delicious and not that difficult to make. Thank you. I have enjoyed all your recipes, especially the aloo gobi.
hi, Manjula, thank you for the recipe i am not Indian but thanks to your great video i was able to cook it. (he liked it!!!!)
zabardast
Thanks
Can’t wait to try that (without the yoghurt) – they look delicious!
Just made these for dinner. Tasted really great! I added a bit of tumeric for color and a bit of garam masala spice. I loved them with the yogurt and chutney, Yummm
I just made these – tasted lovely – did not have green chilli so used chopped sweet red chilli, and did not have fresh ginger so used teaspoon ground ginger. I think I made the patties too big as they broke up a little bit. Next time will make smaller patties and use more oil for frying.
I think most restaurants deep fry these. Is that okay or will they fall apart?
Thank you Manjula Aunty. Very nice recipe, I am going to try it out.
Your recipes are very good.
I tried your Chola Tikki, it turned out great, I also tried another method using the same recipe, I took the large reed end of fresh leeks and stuffed the chola tikki mixture into the leeks I then baked them in the oven, we ate 14 between 4 of us and a friend dropped by and finished off the remaining two, both ways were so delicious. Thank you for the video.
I second that. Producers of asian TV channels should be made aware of this channel.
manjula you should own your own tv cooking show! i know lots of people will love you as much as youtube love you.
Keep the boiled potatoes in the fridge for a while
yes, I made them and they were very stable. I put the boiled potatoes in fridge before I made the tikki. This makes them stable

manjula ji, i loved this video. Thank you.
I have a question, though. Why didn’t you coat them with bread crumb crust or anything like that? I mean, would the tikkis be stable w/o this step? Please help.
And thank you once again.
