Chopped cooked bacon and minced chives are really good in this cheese omelet. One of our favorite fillings here at home!
Good to hear! Hope it works out for you! Jason
Thanks!
Thanks for your comment. What do eggs from your part of the world look like? Are they the brown kind? I use a mixture of freerange and regular eggs from the market. Just depends on the day I’m shopping. Cheers, Jason
Thank you! The pan is just a cheap little thing made by GreenPan. But it works well! Cheers, Jason
Thanks, LOL!
Don’t worry, we’ll do more advanced stuff. This is just a basic recipe I wanted to quickly share with everyone who may not know how. Another video to come this weekend!
You can certainly do that if you like.
A crab omelet would be wonderful with a provolone or parmesan cheese. Just add about 3 ounces of flaked white crab to the filling. Mmmm.
I can’t wait to try this recipe! I didn’t know how to cook a proper omelette (usually they came out too thick and difficult to flip in half).
Oh goodness, now I’m craving cheese!
i love the one handed egg breaks.
try some cheddar/mozzerella mix. that’s my favorite.
instead of using water, i use milk because, in my opinion, gives it a smoother, creamier, fluffier texture.
I’m not a big fan of butter with eggs… prefer bacon grease or light vegetable oil.
OMELETS ARE MY ALLTIME FAVORITE!! thanks chef, now i can cook em with lesser mess =))
great video jason, now do one with crab meat stuffing ha-ha
thats how i make my cheese omelets!
make more videos!:D, why dont you show us something more advanced ?
This is the first time I’ve ever seen a person crack an egg with one hand.
Very impressive.
yumm
Flipping fried eggs work better with fresher eggs. The older the egg is, the more easily it will break when you flip it. I think you’ll just get better at it with more practice.
