    Chopped cooked bacon and minced chives are really good in this cheese omelet. One of our favorite fillings here at home!

    A crab omelet would be wonderful with a provolone or parmesan cheese. Just add about 3 ounces of flaked white crab to the filling. Mmmm.

    I can’t wait to try this recipe! I didn’t know how to cook a proper omelette (usually they came out too thick and difficult to flip in half).

    instead of using water, i use milk because, in my opinion, gives it a smoother, creamier, fluffier texture.

    Flipping fried eggs work better with fresher eggs. The older the egg is, the more easily it will break when you flip it. I think you’ll just get better at it with more practice.
